- Testing in Vista Colony, Old
Nags Head Cove and South Nags Head will consist of 2 to 3 ground
water wells that follow the flow of water toward a surface
testing site.
- Second Westside subdivision
(Vista Colony) (6 groundwater)
- Surface water testing at this
site will provide a comparison with results from Old Nags Head
Cove
- Old Nags Head Cove (5 surface,
8 groundwater)
- Surface water in canals
including one site on Blue Fin Canal
- Groundwater testing around
surface water sites
- South Nags Head Oceanside (1
ocean, 2 drainage ditch middle, 8 groundwater)
- Ground and surface water to view
impact on storm water ditch
- Nags Head Woods (1 groundwater)
- Groundwater testing in areas
without development to provide control data.
- Data collection and distribution
- Collection by Private
