Deputy Chief Wayne Byrum

Deputy Chief Wayne Byrum began and continues his Law Enforcement career in Nags Head.  He is a graduate of the Wilson Technological Basic Law Enforcement Training Program and maintains an Advanced Certificate from the NC Training and Standards Commission.

Deputy Chief Byrum has been certified in Supervisor Management from the NC Justice Academy and has previously held the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain with the Nags Head Police Division.  His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
