Lieutenant Tom Gilliam

Lieutenant Tom Gilliam began his Law Enforcement career in Nags Head.  He graduated from Western Carolina University and the Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy at the College of the Albemarle.  Lieutenant Gilliam maintains an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and a Criminal Investigators Certificate from the NC Training and Standards Commission.  

Lieutenant Gilliam spent seven years as a detective and later as a detective sergeant with the Criminal Investigations Division.  He is a certified firearms instructor and his hobbies are fishing and hunting.
