Officer Chris Saunders began his career as a Police Officer in Manteo, North Carolina and and then as a Deputy Sheriff with the Dare County Sheriff's Office. Officer Saunders later moved to Nags Head to continue his career in Law Enforcement. Officer Saunders is a graduate of Coastal Plains Law Enforcement in Wilson, and maintains an Basic Law Enforcement Certificate from the North Carolina Training and Standards Commission. Officer Saunders is a member of the Department's Bike Patrol and his hobbies include riding motorcycles, fishing, and riding jet skis.
