Office Assistant Lisa Ward began her career working in the Records Division of the Kill Devil Hills Police Department.  Ms. Ward also worked with the Dare County Sheriff's Office in the Narcotics Division and as an Assistant to the Sheriff, and later joined the Nags Head Police Division.

Office Assistant Ward's duties include being the Secretary to the Public Safety Director, maintaining the Computer Operations for the Police Division and in charge of Grant Writing.
Her hobbies include camping, fishing and hiking.
