Sergeant Doug White began his career in Law Enforcement in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and later continued his career with the Nags Head Police Division. A graduate of the Elizabeth City Police Academy Basic Law Enforcement Training Program, Sergeant White maintains an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and a Criminal Investigator's Certificate from the NC Justice and Standards Commission. A certified Emergency Medical Technician, Sergeant White is also a Departmental Range Officer, a certified Armorer, and a Firearms Instructor. His hobbies are hunting and working with horses.
