The Nags Head Police Division Four Wheeler is equipped with emergency signal devices and rescue equipment. The Four Wheeler is utilized as part of the Departmental Beach Patrol Unit which operates in the summer months. Officers patrol the town beaches enforcing state laws, town codes and assisting Nags Head Ocean Rescue.
