The Nags Head Police Division has one of the most active Bicycle Patrol's in Eastern North Carolina. Officers assigned to the Bike Patrol have Bicycle Racks mounted to the rear of their patrol cars which transport the bicycles. During the course of their shift officers will park their cars and ride their bicycles in a particular area of town that requires their attention. Officer Montgomery is shown above loading his bike onto his patrol car.
