| "Click it or Ticket" Campaign |

Many Police Departments across North Carolina have been participating in the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Programs. Part of this program has been the "Click it or Ticket" campaign which has been a statewide enforcement program targeting violator of the state seat belt laws. Here pictured is a roadside checkpoint sponsored by the Nags Head Police Division. The purpose of the checkpoint was to check for seatbelt violators as well as checking to see if Child Safety seats had been properly installed into stopped vehicles.
